Rachel Perry will discuss dental radiography and radiology.

Rachel graduated in 1997 from EdinburghUniversity and joined a small animal practice on the south coast. She developed an interest in small animal dentistry after attending CPD courses provided by BVDA, and then attended a 4 year programme organised by ESAVS covering advanced dentistry and oral surgery techniques. Since 2010, her practice has been limited to dentistry and she provides first opinion and referral small animal dentistry and oral surgery services in the Sussex area. In 2012 she gained entry to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists by examination the subject of Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery. She is an Alternate pathway resident with the EVDC, and teaches at undergraduate postgraduate level. She has lectured at national and international level. In her spare time she is an avid triathlete having competed in Ironman four times!

Lisa is the principal of a dedicated dental and oral surgery referral practice in Byfleet, Surrey. She is also involved with the undergraduate dentistry training at the small animal practice, Bristol University. Lisa has published and presented papers both in the UK and internationally.
Lisa has served on the committee of the British Veterinary Dental Association for the past 8 years and has just finished her term as president.  She is also actively involved with International Animal Rescue and travels abroad to treat rescued dancing bears, slow lorises and any animal in need of dental treatment.
